Silencio y una imagen dominante, la del
genio, con pasos tímidos y expectantes voy descubriendo -entre patrones, hilos y telas- ese sabor contradictorio, esa mezcla que lo hace tan especial, cercano y lejano a la vez,
inquietante, misterioso y entrañable. Observando, comprendes que
la belleza se esconde también tras el dolor y la pasión: sus colecciones transmiten ese mestizaje. En medio del caos, encuentro a
Aurora, el guacamayo amigo querido y perdido, su inspiración, que da nombre a su última colección donde reinterpreta el mimetismo entre las etnias y las aves del Amazonas,
su exotismo como metáfora de lo estéticamente incorrecto. Una colección rica y colorista, entre organzas, linos, sedas, rasos y cueros, con juegos ópticos a través de prints animales y estampados joya y enmarcada en volúmenes exagerados. Entremezclada y muy presente,
Redrum, su colección Otoño-Invierno 09/10, elegante y sofisticada, americanas desestructuradas, trajes sastre, faldas tulipán, baggy pants … entre sedas, cuero, pelo y manipulaciones de tejido:
una vuelta a los orígenes y una búsqueda continuada de la belleza femenina. Una mirada, una sonrisa, un silencio, un primer instante a su lado y una visión más cercana de su libertad.

Disturbing, Mysterious, Pleasant José Castro
In silence and with a dominant image in the background, one of the genius, with shy and expectant steps I am getting to Know amongst patterns, theads and fabrics this contradictory flavour which makes it so special, intimate and distant at the same time, disturbing, mysterious and pleasant.Whilst observing you understand that beauty is hidden underneath the pain and passion: his collections display this union. In the middle of chaos, I spot Aurora, the beloved and lost macaw friend, his inspiration, who his latest collection is named after where he reinterprets the mimicry among the ethnic groups and the birds from the Amazon, their exoticism stands as a a metaphor for the aesthetically incorrect. A rich and colourful collection, with organza, linen silk, satin and leather, using optical illusions via animal and jewelled prints framed by exaggerated volumes. Intermingled and ubiquition, Redrum, its Autumn-Winter 09/10, elegant and sophisticated, unstructured jackets, tailored suits, tulip skirts, baggy pants … made from silk, leather, fur and man-made fabric: a return to the origins and a continual search for feminine beauty. A look, a smile, a silence, a first instant at his side and a more intimate visionof her freedom.
